San Francisco citizens are in an uproar over street parking. There are not enough parking spaces on the street to accomodate all the vehicles in San Francisco. So when it was revealed recently that romance novelist Danielle Steel owns 26 parking permits, the citizens took their gripes to City Hall.

In a recent article published by the Sun, author Abraham Hyatt, reported that there is a movement underfoot to de-list the Snowy Plover from the endangered species list. The Surf/Ocean Beach Commission, headed by Alice Milligan plans to petition the Department of the Interior to remove the Western Snowy Plover.

The 2000 Census results are in and it says nearly half of Californians move every 5 years, according to an article in the Santa Maria Times. Between 1995 and 2000, 45.4% of Californians moved from one home to another.
